Bulgaria on Highest Alert over Looming Floods [May 17, 2012] Codes red and orange have been issued over upcoming floods for the river of Maritsa in southern Bulgaria. Bulgaria Key Highway Lot Built with Illegal Materials - Mayor [Nov 29, 2011] The stretch of Trakia highway between Nova Zagora and Yambol has been built with illegally obtained materials, said Kolyo Milev, Mayor-Elect of the South-Eastern Bulgarian city of Sliven.
