Bulgaria to Set Strict Targets in Waste Management

Bulgaria?s Environment Ministry is preparing a new Waste Management Act, which will set serious goals to municipalities for recycling of waste by 2010, the Eco Minister Nona Karadzhova has announced. On Friday, Karadzhova explained that the new act envisions that municipalities will have to recycle at least 50% of household waste and 70% of construction waste.
